Does connecting GitHub give MindBacklog access to my code?
No. GitHub sends a small notice by webhook, and MindBacklog reads only that. It keeps a commit's sha and first line, a pull request's title and state, and a check's result. No token, no app installation, no code.
Does Stripe need a secret key?
No. Connect Stripe with a restricted key and see who pays, without giving us a secret key. A secret key is refused. Mind checks each permission and names any that is missing, in Stripe's words.
Which plans include AI tools and Ask?
Sync comes with every plan. Your AI tools over MCP and Ask's live lookups come with Growth and Scale; on Starter a lock replaces the Ask switch. Viewers are free.
Can an AI tool delete anything?
No. Nothing can be deleted over MCP. A read-and-update token can update a feature's status and accept a proposal, recorded under your name. It goes only as far as you could in MindBacklog yourself.
What happens when I disconnect a tool?
Disconnecting deletes the stored key or token and stops every sync. What the tool already brought in stays, with where it came from. Disconnecting Stripe asks separately what happens to the customer data and the people it brought in.
