Competitor monitoring for startups, with nothing to set up.
Press Watch and Mind reads their site that day, then every 30 days. It finds pricing, help, changelog, status page and roadmap without you typing an address.
- Each competitor has a tier: closest, adjacent or upmarket. Yours always wins.
- What changed this week shows beside the problem or feature it touches.
- Starting from an idea, Look for competitors marks each find "possible · verify".

If it isn't in their docs, Mind says so.
Every read is dated and sourced. Where none of their pages names an area, Mind says so, and it never means they lack it.
What they show of what you do
Each capability on your map sits beside what Mind found in their pages. Otherwise: Not found in what we read of their docs (read {date}, {N} sources).
Their reviews, kept apart
See what their users say about them, kept apart from what yours say. Every review shows its store and date.
Battle cards on request
Ask about a competitor with no battle card, and Mind writes it, saves it and answers from it.
The Monday read: only what touches your buyer.
Every Monday, what moved in your market that touches your buyer, your problem or the rules, each with its source and date. None of it counts as your evidence.
- An item reaches Today only when it touches an open initiative or a belief.
- When a competitor moves its price, Today shows which of your customers it touches.
- A rule change says "possibly related: check with counsel". No legal advice.

Positioning and the Lean Canvas, from your own data.
Positioning holds your thesis, your stop rule, your positioning line, your pricing and who it is for. Each entry says who drafted it, who confirmed it, and its sources.
- Drafts quote their source word for word. Nothing is confirmed for you.
- Each Monday, an alert says when who writes in drifts from who it's for.
- The Lean Canvas draws nine cells from your own data, with no AI.

What leaves your workspace when Mind reads the market

Questions about Competitors, Industry and Positioning
Something else? Search the help center or email us.
Does Mind tell me what a competitor lacks?
No. Where none of their pages names an area, it says "Not found in what we read of their docs (read {date}, {N} sources)". That is a statement about what Mind read, never a claim that they lack it.
Does it read pages behind a login?
No. Mind reads public pages only, and it respects robots.txt. If their robots.txt asks bots not to read a page, Mind lists it and does not read it. Nothing about your customers or your workspace is sent.
How often does it read a competitor?
Their site the day you press Watch, then every 30 days. Their status page and public roadmap weekly. Read again reads them now, once a day. On a paid plan, Mind also reads their 20 newest posts.
Do competitor reviews count toward my problems?
No. Their reviews are labelled "their users, not yours" and kept apart from what your users say. On Problems they appear as "Not your user" and never count toward a rank or a verdict.
Can I get a market size?
Outside numbers come as ranges with their sources, marked as estimates. Mind keeps a figure only when the page states it, in a sentence it quotes. Confidence is Medium at best; high confidence needs your own evidence.
