What a good document looks like, and a template to copy

The six documents product people write most, from the PRD to the feedback analysis. Each page teaches the shape, gives a template, and shows how MindBacklog drafts it.

The same documents, drafted from your evidence

Every template on these pages is a shape you fill by hand. In MindBacklog, a new document starts from a template and Mind drafts it quoting only its sources: the feedback linked to the feature, in the users' words, and the decisions on record. A number Mind can't trace is taken out.

  • Every document across your product, in one list, each saying whether feedback has arrived since it was last edited.
  • Draft, In review and Final. Mind can suggest an edit to one section; nothing changes until you accept.
  • Export as Word or Markdown, or Copy for an agent.
  • Your coding agent pulls the Build Pack: why it matters, who it's for, the metric, and the must-haves with acceptance criteria.

Questions

Questions about the free tools

Something else? Search the help center or email us.

Are these tools free?

Yes. Each page explains what a good document of that kind looks like, gives a checklist and a template you can copy, with no account and no email form. The part that drafts from your own evidence is MindBacklog itself, on a 14-day trial with no card.

Does MindBacklog generate these documents?

Yes, from evidence it holds. A new document starts from a template and quotes only its sources: the feedback linked to a feature, the problem it answers, the decisions on record. A number Mind cannot trace is taken out. Every document then sits in one list, each saying whether feedback has arrived since it was last edited.

Can my coding agent use what MindBacklog writes?

Yes. Your coding agent pulls the Build Pack: why it matters, who it's for, the metric, and the must-haves with acceptance criteria. Copy it for Claude Code or Cursor, paste a short prompt into Lovable, or let your agent pull it over MCP on the Growth and Scale plans.
