Questions: each belief placed on the evidence ladder from Praise to Pays, with the riskiest belief flagged

Building with a coding agent moves the mistake upstream.

Building with a coding agent, what people call vibe coding, makes a feature cheap to ship. The expensive mistake is now the one before the prompt: a weekend of building on a belief nobody tested.

A compliment on a call becomes a feature. The agent fills every gap with a default user. Discovery is the weak side, so MindBacklog puts it first, then carries what you learned into the agent.

The loop

Learn first. Then build with the why.

Each step is a place in the app. Mind drafts; you decide.

  1. Learn · Questions

Track what you believe and how strong the evidence is

Praise never counts as proof, and your own words never count as evidence.

  2. Learn · Conversations

    Calls that count

Drop a transcript and record consent; Mind pulls their exact words, leaves out yours, and marks what you prompted.

  3. Build · Build Pack

    Hand the agent the pack

Your coding agent pulls the Build Pack: why it matters, who it's for, the metric, and the must-haves with acceptance criteria.

  4. Build · Map

Your agent writes the product map

Every Build Pack then says what already exists, where the work fits and what it touches.

  5. Build · Results

    Check whether it worked

MindBacklog checks your prediction against what happened, from the source you chose, and you decide.

Spec-driven development for founders who build with an agent

Problems

Problems ranked by your users, not who was loudest.

Every piece of feedback, sorted into problems ranked by who has them, with the quotes behind each. Public posts and competitor reviews are shown, never counted.

  • Under 30 pieces of feedback, Mind says "Not ranked" and why.
  • Check a request against what your users actually said, for and against.
  • The verdict is counted from people, never written by the model.

Build Pack

Spec-driven development, with the spec written from evidence.

A Build Pack starts from what your users said and what you decided, and names where each line came from.

  • Copy for Claude Code or Cursor, or let your agent pull it over MCP.
  • Acceptance criteria you can tick. A story is Ready only when it has them.
  • It tells your coding agent what's already broken, not only what to build.

Everything in a Build Pack

Privacy

What your agent gets, and what stays with you.

What we keep, what we never keep, and what is not confirmed yet
  • What leaves your workspace

Outside your workspace, your customers are counts, not people. A Build Pack carries feedback counts by channel and up to five short quotes labelled by channel only, with names, companies and contact details taken out; a shared link carries counts only. Neither carries a customer's email, plan or revenue.

  • What never trains anything

Every request to our AI gateway asks for providers that keep no data. Your data is never used to train AI models.

Questions

Questions builder founders ask

Something else? Search the help center or email us.

Does the Build Pack work with Claude Code and Cursor?

Yes. Copy it for Claude Code or Cursor, paste a short prompt into Lovable, or let your agent pull it over MCP. Your AI tools over MCP are on the Growth and Scale plans, and they cost no AI credits.

Is this a PRD generator?

The Build Pack is written from your feature page, its documents, its stories and the feedback linked to it, not from a prompt. Every section of a Build Pack names its source, and the only numbers are counts.

Does MindBacklog read my code?

No. Your coding agent writes the product map. MindBacklog never reads your code. The publish check reads your GitHub commit titles, nothing else. GitHub is connected by a repository webhook, with no code access.

I only have a handful of pieces of feedback. What happens?

Under 30 pieces of feedback, Mind says "Not ranked" and why, instead of inventing a ranking. Check a request says "Not enough feedback to check" under 10 pieces. Beliefs stay marked "no evidence yet" until a person does something about them.

What does my coding agent see about my customers?

A Build Pack never carries a customer's name, email, company, plan or revenue. Names inside a quote are masked when the workspace knows or recognises them.
