Dashboard — Your Daily Command Center
Overview
The Dashboard is the first page you see when you log in. It provides a comprehensive, real-time overview of your product's health, team activity, and AI-generated insights — all in one place.
How to get there: Click Dashboard in the left sidebar — it's the very first item at the top.
Pipeline Stats
Four key metrics at the top give you an instant read on where work is flowing:
| Metric | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Unprocessed Signals | Pending channel items awaiting AI processing |
| Insights Awaiting Triage | Active Insights in the Intelligence Hub (status = New) |
| On Roadmap | Features in Under Consideration, Planned, or Scheduled status |
| In Execution | Features in In Progress status |
If "Unprocessed Signals" stays high, check your channel connections in The Mind → Channels. A high number usually means a channel is ingesting faster than the AI can process.
AI Daily Brief
Every day, MindBacklog automatically generates a personalized briefing summarizing your product's current status, recent signal trends, and key items needing attention.
- The brief is generated the first time you visit the dashboard each day.
- It's unique to each user and product.
- A loading indicator appears while it generates — it auto-loads when ready.
The Daily Brief does not consume any AI credits — it's a free platform feature on all plans.
Needs Your Attention
Actionable alerts that require your response. Each alert has a direct action button:
- Unowned features — features with no owner assigned (risk of being lost)
- Past-due features — features past their planned end date
- Stale radar items — signals unprocessed for 7+ days
- Roadmap-ready ideas — features scored as ready but not yet promoted
- Failed channels — channel sources with ingestion errors
Top Priorities
Displays the top 5 features by AI Priority Score from the Under Consideration column on your Roadmap. These have the strongest combination of customer evidence and strategic alignment — helping you quickly see what deserves attention next.
Objective Coverage
Shows progress toward your strategic objectives (OKRs). Each objective displays a progress bar with three segments:
- Done — shipped features linked to this objective
- In Progress — features actively being worked on
- Planned — features committed but not started
Feedback Pulse
Week-over-week comparison of signal volume. Shows total signal count for both periods, a percentage change indicator, and a breakdown by channel type (email, app reviews, web form, widget, Slack, REST API, scraper).
Spikes in feedback often correlate with product launches, incidents, or marketing campaigns. Use Feedback Pulse to spot these patterns early.
AI Credits Usage
Shows your organization's credit consumption: credits used, total available (or "Unlimited" for Growth/Scale), remaining, and a breakdown by action type. Also shows when credits reset.
Signal Intake Trend
A 14-day chart showing daily signal counts with week-over-week comparison. Useful for identifying trends tied to external events.
My Assigned Work
Your personally assigned features, stories, and bugs that are still active (not done, deferred, or archived). Displays up to 5 of each type — your personal to-do without navigating to individual pages.
Trending Themes
Top 5 themes from your product's recent customer signals, generated by the nightly clustering worker. Each theme shows its signal count, a relative strength bar, and a trend badge that tells you at a glance whether it's worth a closer look:
- NEW — surfaced for the first time in the last 14 days
- ↑ x% / ↓ x% — week-over-week growth or decline
- 🔥 — spiking unusually compared to its baseline
Each theme row is clickable — it opens the Trending tab inside the Intelligence Hub with that theme pre-selected, where you can read the underlying signals or promote it to a Radar feature with one click. For the full view (sort by Volume or Growth, browse all active themes), go to Intelligence Hub → Trending.
